Our School has humble beginnings. Established in 2014, Robin was teaching a young student at the time but felt the school he was teaching at was restricting his ability to teach the young actor to their full potential. So he started this school in order to teach them. Over the years the school grew to a place that now teaching actors of all ages how to chase their passions and never give up on their dreams.

Below you will find our classes currently on offer. A deposit is required to secure your spot and full payment is required prior to your term starting. You will also find a description of each class along with a timetable below that has a break down of each class day and time.
Acting Classes
Teen Foundation Acting
Our Foundation acting classes are a great way for young teens to step into the world of acting and grow their passions, build their confidence and make friends. These classes are the perfect way to start to uncover the joy of acting for both stage and film. A fun and inclusive environment that offers more then just acting for young students.
Teen Intermediate Acting
Our Intermediate acting classes are the perfect next step for students that are ready to take things a bit more seriously. Progressing from everything learnt in foundation classes, intermediate classes really start to transition from a fun hobby into an actual acting career.
Teen Advanced Acting
Our Advanced acting classes are designed to push students well out of their comfort zone. This four hour acting class is really here to take teens to a whole new level with their acting work. Students in this class should be well on their way to focusing on a career in acting. This class teaches some of the great acting techniques (Meisner and Method) along with creating scenes and scene study. There is also time to really delve into the nitty gritty of the acting world.
Script 2 Screen Classes
Our Script 2 Screen acting classes for both Teens and Adults are aimed at towards students that are looking to really take their acting to a professional level. You will be working through multiple scripts each term and filming them to add to your clip reel. Working with a range of scripts and constantly updating your material is a proven way to increase your potential for regular auditions and casting directors becoming familiar with you.
Practical Acting Classes
Our Practical Acting classes are designed to really help you reach for the stars. Under the guide of our head coach Robin you will explore two of the most renowned acting techniques (the Method and Meisner). You will then work with your scene partner to devise your own scene that can then be turned into showreel material. Along with tackling scenes from theatre and film over the years.
Showreel Classes
Don’t spend thousands of dollars to get your showreels filmed. Our showreel classes are a space for our students to get professionally filmed showreel scenes at a great price point. Rehearse your scene for three weeks before filming the scene with professional cameras and sound. These classes are a great addition to help you showreel stand out from the crowd.

Acting Coaches
Robin Brown
Robin is our head coach at MTA Actors. He has been acting professionally for two decades now and continues to refine his craft. Robin brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his classes. He always strives to give as much as possible to all students and help guide them on their acting journey. Ultimately giving all students a quick path to finding the key to creating their dreams and turning them into reality.
Robin’s classes bring students into the world of Meisner and Method Techniques, which have been foundational in Robin’s acting journey.
Outside of teaching, Robin also runs the film company Revolving Door Productions. This helps enhance his acting teachings by giving a great understanding of all things behind the camera, from Script to Screen.

Jason Agius
Jason's acting career began with a bit part on the critically-acclaimed TANGLE. More recently, he has shared the screen with none other than the ‘Wog Boy’ himself in WOG BOYS FOREVER. visit www.imdb.me/jasonagius).
Jason is passionate about developing actors of all ages, teaching a practical approach to learning scenes and helps to provide them with the necessary tools to become working actors. His students' work often garners the attention of industry professionals, resulting in agency meetings and auditions from casting directors - even if the student is unrepresented.
Jason is also currently developing a feature film screenplay with an AFI-award winning producer/director.
Amy Pollock
Amy Pollock is a Melbourne based actor and creative who has been actively working within the entertainment and fashion industries since 2011. While working as a musician, Amy started her acting training in 2017 at The Melbourne Actors Lab. Under the guidance of Peter Kalos, she immersed herself within the methods and techniques inspired by Lee Strasberg and Stella Adler. Working with a deep curiosity of the human experience and story telling, Amy has developed unique connection to her body, psyche and performance techniques.
Amy brings so much warmth and care to all our fresh faced teenagers. Taking them from their first foundational steps into more intermediate acting skills.
